There were all of these "After the End of the World" movie trailers when we went to see "The Hobbit". This, "The Hosts", and "After Earth" were all shown. Is this all tied to the Mayan calendar hype?

I saw Oblivion tonight. I found it so, so... A touch boring. It plodded along. I hope the other end of the world stories coming out this year are better.

My friend and I just saw this today. I knew that the critics had given it a miss, but we both enjoyed it. I thought the cinematography was a treat for the eyes. I liked the drones having a bit of personality and even though the plot seemed to be given away by the trailers, there were enough twists alone the way that I found it thoroughly enjoyable.
