Well I’ve given it a month and a half before I made the post, but coming from QLED at every spot, I replaced one with a vizio h1 OLeD.

Wow.

There is a definite noticeable difference in pq.

Within the month of usage I’ve dealt with the poor software this model has had, which is mostly gaming issues, but now have the update.

There are some cons with the tech, but the pros far outweigh them imo.

What about static image burn-in possibilities?

It was something I was concerned about, but not TOO concerned about considering I had plasmas for years.

It’s overblown imo. Although I haven’t had it long enough to say it’s gonna be more of an issue than it was for plasma. That said I never had an issue with plasma.

I too have had plasma for years and have been thinking of going to OLED. I have a couple cheaper 4Ks but the main living room still has a 60" Plasma 1080.
I replaced one with a vizio h1 OLeD.
What size?

This was as a direct replacement for the garage tv, so 55”.

I think myself and my ladies are all on board with OLeD replacement for the others.

But what PQ can you expect from OLED in 5-10 years? On your current purchase?

That is still a problem, but maybe less than it was

Honestly, I have no idea. To me, that really isnt a big consideration as I will likely sell it and upgrade it before that point.

Double the cost of what QLED ?]
The C1 goes for double the cost of the Samsung Q60A. It is 50% more than the Sony X90J or LG's own Nanocell model that are no slouches in the PQ and feature department.
What’s the cost of the OLeD?
What's the fascination with the lower case e? OLED is the proper acronym for Organic Light Emitting Diode.

The street price (not Black Friday) for the C1 is around $1,800. Other series OLEDs (P-series and Gallery) are quite a bit more while the lesser models (A, B) aren't a whole lot cheaper.

The price of OLEDs has come down but the price of Quantum Dot LEDs has come down as well.
