OLN Dropped by Dish over Programming Disputes

...The simple truth is while charlie and company keep making asses out of themselves, D* is launching new birds, implementing mpeg 4, leading the charge for hd, building better equipment and just generally sitting back and laughing at dish...

1. D* is launching new birds : Yes, they do, but E* is also does that. They just got Rainbow satellite. They plan to launch more next year too.
2. implementing mpeg 4 : E* implements Mpg4 too.
3. leading the charge for hd : What that means. As far as I know E* has currently much more HD channels then D*.
4. building better equipment : Actually nobody knows how good D* new equipment is. Only handful of people got it in Detroit area. And this is a test right now.
5. just generally sitting back and laughing at dish : You know, will see who will laugh at the end. :)

I have nothing against D*, and right now I am satisfied with E* HD PQ. As for the HD content both E* and D* have to work harder.

After view all the replies and atackts here I wonder what we acheive?Unless you are a shareholder with E* or Comcast this in nonsense,Problably this thread had more viewers that OLN had EVER .In my opinion we can me strong points of view but guys some of you sound like politicians others are a sociopath sarcatics comedians.Just let go OLN is no even uplink anymore and I won't cry for it.

There is no OLN-HD. They are using INHD2 to broadcast the HD games on OLN right now.

OLN-HD is a part-time channel. Some cable systems preempt INHD2 to show ir, but it is its own entity. DirecTV is showing it on channel 98 as of tonites Bruins @ Flyers game.
