Another update? It didn't tell me yesterday when I was on that there was one. Did it just come out today?

I guess I should do likewise. I've been playing a lot the last few days and not a single prompt that a new update is available.

Also been playing a decent amount and haven't been promted to update. I'll check for it tonight when I get home.

Fan noise not a problem here either. I keep mine in an open shelved cabinet and can't hear it at all.

I hear it quite a bit with my 40Gb; fan noise depends on a few things, including SKU, ventilation-room temperature, what it's being used for (usually louder for upconverting and game playing).

Mine never did say I had to download it. I went and looked for it and forced the download.
