Questions about antennaweb.org

There's only about 1.5 db difference in gain at VHF-lo between the 7080p and the 7084P - in fact Winegard's own numbers show the 7084p as being marginally worse than the 7082p for channel 2. And the VHF stations are close. But if you are going to buy a new antenna then it's probably a good idea to get one of the larger ones.

Correct, I edited my post to agree with you.

Just for the heck of it I filled out the "find me an antenna" questionnaire on one of the sales sights and they came up with the Channel Master 3016. What is the difference between that one and the Winegard? I know nothing about these things!!!

The Channel Master Advantage Series (30XX) are the cheaper built versions of the Channel Master Crossfire Series (36XX). I'd recommend the CM 3677 instead.

here is mine I don't know what I can get

I punch in my address and antenna web tells me I cannot get any digital stations however when I hit options and put in 100 feet for height the following is what I get. I don't want to spend a ton of money into an antenna on my roof and not be able to get any hd channels. Can anyone tell me what are my chances of not being able to get any hd channels over the air?

tiemyshew, I know that area, if you want to get the free digital broadcast TV your station focus should be on Milwaukee. I was in Deforest, WI one time and setup for doing ATSC DXing the rolling large hills and trees are too mutch compared to IA.

91XG Uni-Directional Antenna work for me??

From the info I listed above will the 91XG Uni-Directional Antenna be best for me?
Local antenna installers want $700-$800 to put a normal uhf/vhf antenna on my roof but my main goal is just to get HD channels in my area. Hasa anyone had experience with the 91XG Uni-Directional Antenna?

Looks like you would need either the 91XG or the CM4228, mounted as high as possible, with a CM7777 or maybe a Winegard 0269 preamp - the DB8 is not as good an antenna as either of these. If you want to try for Madison, Green Bay and Milwaukee stations you would need a rotor. But why don't you post in the local HD reception forums at avsforum, you might find someone else in your location who can give you their experience.

Any dual-tuner OTA hd-dvrs available?

How did they get this job?
