Quick Question about USA Network

Soon I will leave cable tv behind and finally get a Dish.

My specific question, so I know what to expect from Dish, is about the USA Network channel.
It has Monk, The Dead Zone, and The 4400.
I have yet to be able to watch a full episode of anything on that channel.

Every 4 to 6 minutes, this channel goes freaky for about 1 minute.
It looks like it's being jammed with a jammer or something and the audio becomes a high pitched squeal.

Does the same thing happen with Dish or DirecTV?

My location is in Houston, Texas.

Edited To Add: I'd also like to know, out of curiosity, if the same thing happens on your Cable TV, or C-Band, or any other way of receiving this 'Basic Package' channel.
I've never had a dish before, only cable tv.
This channel has had this problem in 5 different locations (all around the Houston area) consistently over the past couple of years, at least, for me.

I haven't watch Monk much this season on DishNetwork as most have been repeat but when I did I didn't notice any dropout. Note(as of this week switched to Directtv so can have my tivo. Has a SA tivo with DishNetwork).
live outside of Austin so should be about same reception.
