Replacing Power Jack in Laptop

It has been two months since I started this "project" and it definitely started off a little rough. I have replaced the power jack and the laptop is functioning properly.......whew. In the end I was able to take some needle nose pliers and gently remove the pins from the remaining solder. I then cleaned out the holes and soldered the new jack in place.

Thank all of you for your guidance on this it was a huge help and boost to get me started.
