Wow, glad I didnt watch this thread in real time, becuase I thought they said interesting things were going to happen. And really nothing more then price changes that have already been explained. Unless there is more to come.
The DHPP is beinig renamed the "Servie Plan" and like I reported before to cancel the "Service plan" is going to cost you $25.
$15 Technician Fee is $15 with the service plan and $95 without the service plan.
I'll assume the Service plan is still 5.99 a month? Or is that going up as well!? BTW, what happens if a leased receiver craps out with no service plan?

I don't suppose they are saving the big HD announcement for after the questions.Going to questions now and starting with a video question.
Reach into your pocket. Not joking.

The main problem with the pricing is -- it penalizes people for getting the hardware that has the features that distinguish Dish from cable and the other providers.
Previously, Dish could say "yes we don't have this game or this package, but everyone says our hardware is the best - here's a couple of 722s for free to sign up."
Now the pricing gives people a big incentive to send back their 722 and get lesser receivers.
I am wondering the same thing...When does the chat of all chats start?
When does the chat of all chats start?
What is considered "The chat of all chats?"
Maybe it was called that because of the length, not the content?
