RIP. Sad to hear. Not that much older than I am. Maybe he lived a little harder. I watched the Monkees in the '60s, and I liked "Daydream Believer" with Davey Jones as the lead singer.

How is he dead, and Keith Richards isn't?

Wow. This is awful . He had been around Central Florida for some time. Last saw him at Disney World at the Old MGM Studio.

I guess this finally ends all the Monkees reunions. Sad really. They were a manufactured group but they were still part of the culture.

My condolences to his widow. She was much younger and they seemed very happy.

RIP Davy!

Watched a doc on the Monkees back on VOOM, or maybe Smithsonian, that was excellent about how the band came around to being. Interviewed them all except Mike, of course.

Davy was very happy and still performing a lot.

Very unfortunate.

Davy appeared on the same show that The Beatles appeared on when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan show . Little did he know that he would be part of the TV version a few years after that.
