Screen Saver on the 411

While watching my 411 for several hours, all of a sudden the screen saver would come on and the picture would go off. I found out that the 411 has an inactivity stand by for the screen saver you can set at either, 4,6 or 8 hr intervals.

I saw that too. I disabled mine.

You also have to watch out for the upgrade setting. It is set default to turn the receiver off at 3:00am. I disabled that sh*t too.

I'm pretty sure all of the newer receivers have that. Just hit the Select button to bypass it. As for the 3 am upgrade, that's for updating your guide data.
