Ok..this is a little bit different and quite possibly dumb but instead of me taking the time to do it, I thought I would ask before I did. Or if anyone has an idea I am all ears...

I have Dish for my main TV viewing and NFL Sunday Ticket for football season. If I have only one coax outlet in the wall... Could I put a splitter on the outside feeds from the dishes and one inside at the wall and connect them to the appropriate boxes and get the both satellite feeds?

My ritual for now will be on Sunday to disconnect the Dish feed and replace with the Directv feed but I want to see some NFL Network programming today... :yes Or maybe talk Charlie into carrying NFL Network. That would solve this dilema :)

Diplexers will not work. A diplexer is used to combine a satellite signal with an OTA or cable signal.

Specifically, a "standard" diplexer is a pair of band-pass filters.

One side for 0-900MHz. The other for 950MHz and above.

For E*, the "above" needs to be 2150MHz. for D* it can be 1450MHz.
