Good luck with that. Most everyone I know have promo deals that come in at $5-$7 per month.I certainly wouldn't renew for anymore than that.

I cancelled my sub on Tuesday. Glad I did. The music channels sound like crap and the talk stations are even worse. Methinks satellite radio has peaked.

Good work, they drop many of the channels that people love, don't replace those channels with anything then raise the rate.

Thats SMART.

Glad I have a lifetime subscription.

I am on the way out the door; my sub will expire soon. The programming which interested me has been removed recently so there is nothing that I listen to anymore. The service and programming seemed excellent for many years but it has certainly let me down.

I dumped my 2 subscriptions 2 years ago and haven't looked back. Don't see myself returning unless they drop prices significantly. Get Sirius channels on Dish anyway for home listening and car reception was brutal most of the time around here so don't miss it too much.

Scott hit it, it's more the combination of losing some very popular channels and price increases at more or less the same time.

For me, it's the horrible audio quality that makes the price seem exorbitant. When I get a $5-6/month promo rate, it's almost worth it. But, even at that price, I can't listen for too long a period at a time, as that warbly, gurgly, wooshy audio quality just drives me crazy. They need to lose even more channels, so they can goose up the bitrate. The talk stations sound worse than AM. And, the music stations are barely better tham AM quality. I generally listen to either an SD card full of MP3's, or HD Radio stations now. Whereas, I used to listen to XM quite a bit.

I must be the only one who is satisfied with what Sirius provides. I know that there is a bunch of options out there to listen to radio in your car. I have one lifetime sub, pay for another radio, and I also pay for the app which actually is the best buy out there. I pay $3.50 for the app and they provide everything in sports that is on. I wouldn't know what I would do without it. I use to pay 20 bucks for the MLB app so I could listen to live games but now I don't have to. They have pretty good music chs without commercials. The mthly radio is getting expensive but for less than 50 cents a day, I still think its worth it for all the provide. The internet quality has gotten way better too.
