Besides not having any programming, the transponder may have had momentary lock or adequate Signal Quality to log the transponder, but not good enough to log the data, TV or Radio service or complete tables. You should review these "Failed" transponders and verify the Signal Quality reading is high enough for a reliable lock.
Also try returning to perform a Transponder Scan. Some services have poorly built tables and others (like the audio services on 139w) have an exceptionally large BAT that a receiver has to digest in smaller bites to extract the services. Depending where the timeout occurs in the BAT logging, the microHD may scan up to 128 of the audio channels at a time, log none or any number in between. I have repeatedly scanned one of the 139w audio services up to 30 or more times to log over 800 active channels. Sometimes the TP search would log dozens (up to 128) and other times it would log none.
A trick that I regularly use is to first perform a Blind Scan - Normal then a Blind Scan - Defined then a Satellite Scan of the logged transponders. It is amazing how many more channels can be logged when scanning with the various methods and user adjustable scan parameters. Also be aware that many channels are free for viewing, but flagged as scambled. If you select to log only free channels, these open channels will be missed.
