If both the uplink facility and the receiver (customer) are under clear skies does the spotbeam shrink or reduced in intensity during daylight hours...say 4-6 points. Thanks.

What I see it's more the atmospheric conditions this time of year and signal attenuation during the day.
 
heat. You can strap a Peltier cooler on an lnb to cool it. Iit reduces the noise level and signal skyrockets. Probably hotter in the day and cooler at night
