Had a 622 for about two weeks. Enjoying the almost rock solid performance and the new HD content [vs our old 811] Everything perfect except as below.
I have our 622 connected to our LCD with HDMI. I primarily use the optical out for sound to our JVC receiver. 5.1 sound works great. The receiver flawlessly switches between Pro Logic and Dolby Dig. on every station except one. UNIHD [947- Universal HD] has no sound most of the time. I did get a Dolby D program today but all commercials and following programs had no sound. I tried manual switching to analog sound with [on the JVC] no results- still silence.
If I enable my TV speakers, I do get sound through the HDMI cable.
Did a search and found one post complaining about sound drop outs on UNIHD only one post and seemed not to be relevant to my issue.
Every other channel HD and SD audio works perfectly.
Yes I have the 622 set for Dolby Digital/PCM and line mode. Tried RF mode- no diff.
Anyone else have similar problems? Solutions?
