Sub rattle question

Yeah, im thinking it was just bass at those points in the movie. Since then Ive watch a couple of more with good loud bass and its done fine.

And actually it handled most of the loud stuff in Cloverfield just fine.

You want a really nice sounding sub (for a nice little price ;)) the BG radia 220i is absolutley spectacular and has one of the cleanest sounds around. My new demo is to stand a nickel on its edge and put in Cloverfield. It does not move but it will rattle your bones.

Well, finally got around to really messing with it. I cranked the volume up today with some heavy bass songs and kinda figured out where the good bass was in the room and why.

I ended up putting the sub behind the tv stand firing at the wall(complete 180 from where we sit). Re calibrated the onkyo and now the bass is much better. It gives you that boomy bass when you need it. Ran some scenes from Cloverfield with the bass cranked and it sounded better, during some scenes I can feel the bass vibrating the seat cushion of my chair. Very nice.
