So the good ol Nor'easter gave my APC C3 surge protector a workout

APC AV Black C Type 8 Outlet Power Filter, 120V

and now the protection lite is not working :(

Soooo, new tv coming tomorrow and I need to do something. For the last 1.5 years, all my gear has been on that, except the HDDVR, which was on an old APC UPS.

It's running 5 years old and could stand for replacement too, so here is what I'm thinking:

This UPS is 780watts, and I would hook both the tv AND hddvr to it

APC - 1300VA Battery Back-Up System - Black - BX1300G

Then, I would plug that UPS, and the rest of my gear into this guy:

Monster Power - 8-Outlet Blackout PowerCenter Surge Protector - MP HDP 900G

Thoughts?

Well, it seems many recommend no UPS for the TV. I guess if its not biggie, then I could just get a real good SP and continue to use my old beater UPS for the HDDVR.

No Monster. Panamax. Or Brickwall with a UPS. Or a high end APC AV UPS/line conditioner/surge protector.
