swivel stand?

This stand is a few inches wider and slightly deeper than the foot on my plasma. My plasma is 98 lbs, this is rated for 150. Just wondering about thoughts on using this on top of my ent center for the plasma to sit on, would come in handy when guests are over? With a 1" height, its pretty low profile too.

I find a swivel indispensible for viewing a plasma in a room full of windows. I just slightly angle my TV away from the bank of windows in my living room and get absolutely no reflections or glare on my TV screen.

My entertainment stand has a built-in swivel which helped me angle my 156 lb. CRT. Now that I have replaced the CRT with a Panny 800u, which has a built-in swivel, I prefer to use my stand's swivel still so as not to risk finger prints and scratching of the glossy black base on the 800u.
