It would be nice to add the Fisrt Post Date to each Normal Thread, similar as its added to each Last Post. Its very interesting for a typical forum user to see thread dynamics - how fast a thread is moving on since its started, i.e. how important the topic is for the community right now.

Another use of First Post Date would be for everyone to see, what topics remain important for SatGuys community over time, what kind of equipment remains popular, what issues remain unresolved and need priority treatment, or may be need being shared with some organizations who can presumably help their resolution.

Also, some people bring old threads back to life - a short 2005 thread recently popped up - for whatever reason (the guy said he doesn't know how to start a new one), so its interesting to see what kind of info doesn't loose value over time.

Anyway, if the Last Post date is always shown in the Thread List, why don't show the First one?

Nobody is interested? Not a valuable info to reflect in the thread list? Any comments?

Its possible the same utility may be used for that as is used now to add the thread starter's ID.
