If I was a Single Guy with no kids, HD Absolute would have been great. But since I'm not, Top 250 is the minimum I could go in my house.$42 after taxes and DVR fees a month is perfect for me.

:upWhen AbsoluteHD is gone....they can go ahead and cancel my account...paying $70+ for TV just isn't worth it to me.
Really not worth it,stay with absolute,my 2 cents
They'd get over it..... And as I say, there's more important things in life than TV. That's not to say my 7-year old daughter doesn't ask me why I got rid of Nickelodean. Surprisingly, she's doing just fine without Spongebob. She does like iCarly and some others too, but Spongebob was reason enough to get rid of Nick.If I was a Single Guy with no kids, HD Absolute would have been great.
True. But I don't want to piss the kids off which in turn will piss the wife off, That will result in me not getting any sex, something that is worth every penny of the top 250 pack. They'd get over it..... 3 kids and 2 adults here. Between the DishDVR and Netflix they are completely happy.
absolute plus locals plus showtime runs me 42.10 a month.
If dish was to change me for some reason, I would most likely give it up and just go with OTA and internet tv services.
My biggest problem with any of the broadcast channels is that you have to watch close to 30 minutes of commercials for 30 minutes of programing.
I think the main reason I am currently still with dish is because of the DVR. If it wasn't for that? There is nothing on any of them that would force me to be bombarded by Tampon, extense and pharmaceutical commercials.

3 month promo perhaps? That's what I had until last week.$42 with Showtime, Locals and DVR fee? How is that?

My bill for HD Absolute (the penny Cinemax is not shown) is:My bill is $42 with locals and $.01/year Cinemax. Maybe he meant Cinemax rather than Showtime? You can't get the 3-month promo with HD Absolute
