On my home PC when ever I slide my mouse over an icon in the tool tray, most of the time the description of the icon shows up behind the taskbar. It doesn't do it all the time. It's a Dell 410XPS duel core duo, running Windows XP Home Edition. Any ideas on how to manage this issue. Thanks.

That is a strange one. The only advice I could give you for that one would be to reinstall the OS. I know it's a pain but I have never heard of that problem.

stimpson, I see it all the time. Usually, a reboot makes it better. It's not called Windows for nothing!

Is that one of those deals you can check/uncheck to keep "on top" of all others? Not 110% sure but sounds like some is forcing it to be in the background as opposed to the fore. Maybe taskbar or startmenu ?
