Amazon has a knockdown price on 2020 Toshiba FireTV edition TV's right now for Prime members so what the heck I grabbed one, a 32", 720p marked down to $129.99, regular $199.99. Perfect for the bedroom. Strong tuner, it scanned in 86 channels. That's the most any of my systems have scanned in. The picture is beautiful and the integrated FireTV works perfect so far. Another plus is it has an integrated programming guide. The only complaint I have is I wish there was a button on the remote to rotate thru the inputs. Having to go thru the menu system each time is a wee bit annoying but if that's the only problem I can live with it.

Thanks for the review, my Dad just asked my opinion on the 43" version and I told him to go for it. Glad to hear I didn't steer him wrong!

What does the button that has a picture of the TV on the remote do?

I hope they don't drop the price when Prime day comes on the 20th.

I ordered mine a couple of years ago,on Prime Day. It was $99 plus tax. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Good tv set,but Amazon definitely has the software programmed in their favor.

I've had a 40" Toshiba Fire TV for a few years now. Mostly I use it for OTA channels, but I do have a wireless receiver attached for Direct. The picture and sound are great.

When I want to switch inputs, I use the remote button with the 3 bars, and it brings up a list of inputs that I can select from.

I used to have an LG 2013 3d tv set, that made you cycle through the menu for each input. Drove me nuts. I discovered a code via Google search that would do it direct, and programmed a JP1 remote with it. I made the JP1 programming cable myself, by modifying an old Geosatpro MicroHD USB ttl programming cable.

if you hold down the home button a menu will pop up and you can select imput from there
My sister misspells "input" the same way you do. ;)

On the FireTV, how on earth is anybody supposed to intuit that? My Roku TV's are much simpler. But try getting the TV to tell you what resolution it sees. That is not obvious.

Yeah, holding down the Home button to get a popup menu and then scrolling down to select Inputs then scrolling down to select which input is not user friendly IMHO, especially when all my other TVs have an Inputs button on the remotes.
