Trouble with antenna for sony dav-c700

This surround system is in a motorhome and the original antenna does not work. I've taken the reciever into my house and hooked it up to the system in here and it works good. I've tried a small inside antenna, but doesn't work good either. The motorhome exterior is fiberglass and looking for something that work. The hook up on the reciever is a cable screw on and not a regular radio antenna plug in.

It sounds like the signal is being attenuated too much to get decent reception. You may need to get an outside antenna.
