unable to reply or start a new message

I keep getting this message when I try to start a new message or reply to a current message:

Oops! We ran into some problems.
Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator.

I get the same message when I try to use the "Contact Us" form.

Have you tried completely clearing all Satellite Guys related cookies?

Ahh the system prvents new members from sending private messages for a period to prevent spamming. I am not by a PC at the moment to check what those requirements are, but also probably not a good idea or me to post what they are.

Are they technically a new member since the OP's join date is April 20, 2009 which was 14.5 years ago.

They are new in that they have too few posts to kind of prove they aren't a spammer.
