My local DSL kinda sucks, I was thinking about a mifi 4510 for the house, because we have 4G in my area. Looking at the reviews online, the speeds are very good, better than the 5.5 mbps down I get at home now for $50 a month. Any input on a device like this for streaming something like Vudu?

Thanks.

I use LTE on my T-Bolt and I can tell you I can stream 2 HD sling boxes at a time to two ipads from my house to Las Vegas. Using the Thunderbolt and the tethering app. Wife tries the 3G and with SD it worked but her myfi 3G can't do sling box in HD. It buffers too often.

Do you have cable internet available in your area? That would get you much better speeds than DSL and pings than LTE.

Edit: yes it is. Comcast's fastest speed in your area is 12/2 with PowerBoost. It is 57.95 a month.

That's pretty nice. Only suck part is the 5 gb limit on the $50 plan.

That alone would make it a no go for much streaming. With vudu, in HD (or netflix), you wouldnt be able to watch many shows or movies.
Id keep DSL or get cable (for this anyway).

Finally, a 3D product for us Luddites

Huge price increase for Netflix subscribers
