Just received innercircle e-mail from Voom. Nothing we haven't heard before but it is interesting none the less.

There are a few things I see wrong on some of the links. Like you can receive analog ota signals, and the fact there is no contract... well I guess I can't say thats wrong but I guess it will change.heres the link

Maybe I mis-read it, but under one of the FAQ it said that additional STB's could be purchased outright for $199 or rented for $10 with no mention of it having to be done when the original order/install is placed. Meaning to me, adding a STB at any time with having a choice and not incurring the flat $199 fee that so many have been told. No?

I couldn't find the reference, but you can receive analog OTA by using a splitter (high quality) on the OTA line (if the sat and OTA lines are separate), and running one of the lines into a VCR (or TV, if it has an analog tuner), bypassing the STB. I'm doing that so I can tape Simpsons OTA (I get a really good FOX analog signal where I live) and watch something on the STB at the same time .

Using analog cable as OTA input??

Voom website updated with a new look!
