[VOOM] TV screen message while watching Discovery HD

At about 2:25pm PDT today while watching Discovery HD, a message
screen popped out something like "No signal received from this
channel...Pls try again later". I noticed the STB LED light turned
red but the program continued, although it was partly blocked in the
center by the message. I waited a few minutes to see if it would go
away, but it didn't. I turned off the STB, then on. The message
disappeared and the program continued on. Felt like this unit or
service was still in beta.

Had the same problem and it happened on all channels even SD ones. I
just rebooted the receiver and it went away.

In a way it still is. PQ improvements, new channels, new software updates -- all coming at us. Always 2 steps forward and 1 back in the best of circumstances. Just roll with it.

I saw some crazy symptoms too in the last couple of days. At one point the Music Choice channels showed "Call Voom to get this service activated" while the music came through fine and the page displayed fine behind the error message. Went away after awhile.
