[VOOM] Voom to add additional channels

I wouldn't make book on this information, but I hope
that it is concrete.

Voom to add additional channels

voomBack in late November when Voom announced 30 new HDTV channels
would begin airing as early as March of 2005, they also announced
adding additional standard definition channels. Some of those channels
are now known, the list below was pulled from a Voom press release
dated today January 6th 2005.

Voom coming attractions for spring 2005 include the addition of the
following popular cable networks:

* BBC America
* CMT
* CNN International
* Discovery Home
* Discovery Kids
* Discovery Times
* DIY - Do It Yourself Network
* FINE LIVING
* Fox Movie Channel
* FSN Bay Area
* FSN New England
* FSN New York
* FSN Ohio
* GAC - Great American Country
* History International
* Military Channel
* MSG Network
* National Geographic Channel
* Reality 24-7
* Sunshine Network
* Superstation WGN
* The Science Channel
* Turner South

[VOOM] Re: Voom to add additional channels

Having Cablevision I get FSNY HD and MSG HD, I was hoping Voom adds
those in HD, we'll see.
The only thing on this list is missing for me is the YES Network.
These stations are a must for the NY sports fan.

FSNY HD and MSG HD would be great! I don't think YES is available in HD
yet.
I doubt that VOOM will get HDNet or INHD but that would be worthwhile. What
other HD sources are out there other than HD indemand movies that VOOM could
provide without going to a third party.
