[VOOM] Wilt -HELP- SCI FI channel is icky

Hi Wilt:

I was tickled to death that Voom got the Sci Fi channel on board.

But the picture quality lacks much to be desired. Its like its got
some kind of combing artifact even with 480i output.

Audio is lower than most the other channels too.

Darn, you're fast. Already looks much better. Better than my cable
signal again. Thanks.

Audio is still lower on Sci Fi than many of the other channels. On
the flip side, USA is louder than the others. Don't know if there's
anything that can be done about it.

I've got Brighthouse cable and comparing the volume between it and
Voom, Voom on USA is about 6 decibles louder and SciFi is about 2to3
decibles lower than the average volume from the other stations. I
know that some channels are louder than others, but since USA and
SciFi on cable were the same volume and the same as most of the other
cable channels, I figured there must be some way to adjust the sound.

How about The Tennis Channel?

One of the main reasons I chose VOOM was The Tennis Channel. I couldn't get it through the other satelites providers. But picture quality on this channel is very "foggy". I know I'm getting spoiled by the HD channels...but this channel is definately less clear than the other regular stations. Is this a VOOM problem or it is the broadcast quality? I have not seen it any other way so I have nothing to compare it to but my pal who gets it through her cable company says the picture is great......no problem. Why is VOOM's so bad?
 
It's fuzzy on digital C-band, the original source transmission.
