A lot of people have been asking me when they can order a new Hopper system...

First the new systems will not be in the DISH Network computers until early morning. I would suggest waiting to order until mid morning so that DISH can iron out any kinks that may pop up in their computer system. :)

Enjoy!

Ive been told twice that I have to buy the hopper for $449... they told me that there is no upgrades available at this time.... on to the next CSR.

Update: On to the "account specialist" who says they are not being released until the week of March 17.... now saying that the upgrade fee should be $99, they just aren't released yet."

This is what I mean about CSR's not being on the same page as a number of our members here have already ordered from CSR's.

If I was ordering personally I would wait until noon time til all the bugs are worked out with the CSR's. :)

Just ordered 2 hoppers and 2 Joeys for 185.00 after credit for current equipment. They even wanted to install today, held them off until Saturday. My monthly bill went up 12 buck, part of that is the maint. plan.

As Scott said, give it a little time -- call back later today. There may be issues with CSR education or with internal site updates that show correct pricing.

Just ordered as a new subscriber... 1 Hopper and a single Joey :)

odd thing is Dish's web site can't do math very well:

Monthly Charges & Credits 61.99
Taxes 3.92
Total 69.87

Should be $65.xx no?

I used the online chat and was able to get 2 hoppers and 2 joeys for a $200 upgrade fee. I also signed up for the protection plan and the installation is free. No complaints here.

I ordered the exact same set up and was told 295.00. How old is the equipment you are getting the credit on?

Just so everyone knows, if you have recently sign up for Dish as a new customer, withing 5-6 months, chances are you will not qualify for a Dish'N It Up. You will have to purchase the equipment. If you are quoted $449 then you probably do not qualify.
