I have the Teflon dielectric plate in my LNB. Will it affect signal level when moving from Circular sat to linear ones. If yes by how much?

I am not sure the exact amount but I know it will effect your signal, on my 1.2 Meter dish I loose all linear signals if that plate is in :(

I think its like using a DBS circular LNB for a linear satellite, I have never seen a signal doing that.

Definitely yes.It varies from sat to sat, also transponder to transponder.Suggest you try it yourself.Any suggestions from the Forum members how to solve this problem. How does a polarotor LNB deal with linear and circular polarity?
