I woke up this morning and I get no signal on any satellite channel but my OTA's are coming in. I line in Northern California and we have had some storm systems going through. I am just curious if this is happening to others in my area.
Storms will give you rain fade which means that your signal may drop 20-30 points and you will lose your reception, but storms would not cause a signal strength of 0. Signal may be down into the 30-60 range would not be enough for reception.
A 24" dish should resolve any rain fade issues.
Do you really have signal strength of 0 or just not able to get signal?
I think it was the storm that passed through. My channels came up about 1:00 pm. And it's clear now so no problems, other than the box locking up over and over and over again.
