Anyone tried on of these? It is 2.4mhz and so are my phones (and possibly my router). Will this cause interference? I know there is a 5.8 system, but for a lot more money.

I have used the X10 AV transmitter before, it does not cause any problems with my 5.8 GHz phone (I never had a 2.4 GHz one so I am not sure about those) but I do know that if you use the microwave you will loose your audio / video signal :(.

I tried one but all my phones and wireless network are also 2.4ghz, it didn't behave well with them so I went with the 5.8 video transmitter. It works ok, but they are a bit pricey.

I have 2 systems I use for security cams. They will interfer with 2 gig phones and wireless routers but you can change channels to avoid the
conflicts. I also went to 5 gig phones. Both of my receivers were overheating and the chroma signal would drop out, opening the case
stopped this. The range is not much, affected greatly by how many walls
you have to go through, 50' is a reliable range.
