Yellow smart cards - which revision?

I'm selling my 301 receiver because we switched to ATT U-verse. It has a yellow smart card that I think is still good since I disconnected the receiver last October. Some sites are selling these cards for $80-90 depending on the revision. How can I tell by looking at the card which revision it is? Or does it really matter to a buyer? Is there a chance this card is no longer valid? I just want to let the buyer know the truth of what they are getting.

New purple [G3] card are coming, soon only those cards will be valid.
As to any data related to your existing card - connect the box to your TV only, remove the card and you will see System Info screen with all that info.
