Yet Another Dispute For Dish Network

Interesting that they don't list one local network fee at all. I find a big difference between national channels and local channels. National feeds take up less space on the satellite feeds. Locals eat them up. So the satellite companies are carrying them at a greater expense to them on resources than the national channels.

Fisher station KVAL-TV in Eugene, Oregon..... Programming has been removed and
replaced by a continuous loop with Eric Sahl, Senior VP of Programming, Dish.

Sahl claims that KVAL is asking for "82% in excessive programming rate increases
and unreasonable contract terms while in the past few years Dish has successfully negotiated contracts with almost 1,000 other local stations."

The loop goes on to show the phone numbers and names of KVAL's general manager and some of the local advertisers on KVAL.

Sahl advises viewers to contact KVAL and their advertisers to voice
their concern over the loss of channel 13 on Dish Network.
