Actually to stick with my own topic for fav's...Music side (no or little LFE) Woodstock, Can't wait for the BD version this summer... Monterrey Pop from MHD is pretty good also...
Anyone seen Titan A.E.? I think it's chapter 10, going through the ice fields, that really puts you into the movie. Although it's animated, the DTS audio is solid!!
In the few weeks that I've had my new next-gen AVR, so far The Incredible Hulk has amazed me the most as far as audio and LFE are concerned.
Looking back in the thread a bit.
Not so sure about Woodstock in BD. It was a fairly soft focus film, and I suspect there will be little or no visual improvement in the BD. Been burned there on a couple of movies already where the original material isn't much better than DVD quality.
Jury is out on the sound as well. The DVD sounds good. Not sure if the original recording equipment is up to any improvement for TrueHD. I'll probably rent it first.
Soundstage: Fleetwood Mac -- Live in Boston... kept Shakers going pretty much the whole Concert...
I understand Transformers II has great stuff, but for me right now it's Star Trek, when they go to Warp alone rocks...
