Zack Snyder will direct a 'Justice League' movie to follow 'Batman vs. Superman'

Surprise 'Batman v Superman' footage blows minds at Comic Con
I'm losing my mind. That may not be the most professional way to describe it, but as someone who has been steeped in the iconography of Batman and Superman since childhood, the simple teaser that Zack Snyder brought with him today was awfully persuasive. The footage opens with a shot of Batman pulling a tarp off of the Batsignal. The first takeaway is that they created a truly amazing Batsuit for the film. You've seen one version of the suit now, but the one in this footage is definitely similar to the Frank Miller battle armor, complete with glowing white eyes.Once the tarp is off, he throws a switch and the spotlight comes on. Snyder's camera moves around behind Batman so we can see the Batsignal in the sky. And there, in the middle of it, hovers Superman. In the close-up, Superman's eyes start to glow red, and the final shot is a cut back to Batman, as close as possible, ready for whatever's about to happen. We saw it twice, and it's incredibly simple, but as someone who really loved Snyder's take on Superman, I felt like Snyder nailed Batman in a similar way. This is definitely the big and moody take on things, but it is beautiful, and I feel like this plays directly into Snyder's strengths. He thinks in very iconic terms. He thinks in big images. There's nothing slight about what he does, and when you're making a movie called "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice," you're not aiming for subtle. There's a long way to go on this one, and it's going to obviously come down to what story they're telling, but as a first sneak peek, that's the way you do it.Bring it on, Zack. "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" opens May 6, 2016. https://tv.yahoo.com/news/surprise-batman-v-superman-footage-175800296.html Batman VS Superman: 2014 Comic Con Footage..... Here's our first glimpse of Bruce Wayne in 'Batman v. Superman'
SPOILERS: Behind the scenes of Batman v Superman, Bruce Wayne, Metropolis set ...Filmed August 5, 2014, in Corktown, Detroit.
Several Bruce Wayne stand-in's and stunt doubles were on set today. You can see them blocking out a scene involving the rescue of a small girl and the collapsing of a large piece of the Wayne Financial building. Based on city buses and police cars, this is presumed to be in Metropolis, not Gotham. I don't know that any of these are Ben Affleck himself, but you can be the judge. Probably him in the first sequence, but definitely not the later ones. At the very least, it's Bruce Wayne.

If you have a sharp eye, you can also catch Zack Snyder in a dark gray t-shirt around 2:42 and elsewhere, such as running toward camera at the very end.
Filming for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is officially underway in Detroit, so of course fans are already trying to get a peek at what's happening on set — and then share it with the entire internet. Yesterday, one determined spectator recorded a scene that featured Bruce Wayne rescuing a little girl from a chaotic situation in Metropolis. A nearby bus confirms that this sequence indeed takes place in Superman's neck of the woods, though it's not immediately obvious why Wayne, who looks slightly older than we've seen in recent Batflicks, is in town.Notice that up until now we've exclusively said Bruce Wayne, and that's because the Bruce Wayne seen here doesn't look all that much like Ben Affleck, who's of course playing Wayne / Batman in the film. So either Affleck's wearing an astounding amount of makeup, or we're actually seeing his stunt doubles in action here. Odds are it's the latter, though it's hard to make a definitive call. That first guy just might be him. Aside from "superhero saves a kid as buildings crumble around them," the footage doesn't really contain any other spoilers. And with Batman v. Superman not due until 2016, odds are we'll be seeing plenty more of these leaks in the coming months as fans try to ease the long wait. http://www.theverge.com/2014/8/6/5974587/set-footage-offers-glimpse-of-bruce-wayne-batman-v-superman

Aquaman Conducts Film Tests For Future Batman v Superman Scenes

The subtitle Dawn of Justice attached to Batman v. Superman suggests that we’ll see multiple members of The Justice League when Zack Snyder’s blockbuster reaches theaters in 2016. We know that Wonder Woman is a big part of the mix. And we have been hearing rumors about Aquaman’s inclusion. Get ready to hear some more. The reliable fan site Batman-On-Film says that Aquaman "is indeed in the film" and recently conducted "some sort of film test on a water set." The site notes that Aquaman "has a very small role" in Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which likely means he is a cameo tease setting up that Justice League movie (which Snyder plans to direct, even though it has no release date at the moment). What was the rumor we heard about Aquaman back in the day? The prevalent thought was that the World Engine from Man of Steel might have caused enough of a ruckus to disturb Aquaman’s underwater kingdom. Given the amount of destruction it caused, it’s easy to understand why that might be the case.Imagine a scene where Aquaman emerges from the depths of the Indian Ocean to ask Kal-El (Henry Cavill), "Uh, dude? Is there a reason that you had to unleash holy hell in my waters? And what exactly is a ‘World Engine’ anyway?"
The reveal of an Aquaman cameo is exciting – if slightly anticipated. We know that a Justice League movie lies on the horizon (the distant horizon, but still, the horizon), and so we’ll have to start meeting these characters in time. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is rumored to have Cyborg in its ensemble, as well, played by Ray Fisher. We know that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is on tap as the villain, and the supporting cast from Man of Steel should all be back. Who, though, will play Aquaman… even if it’s just a brief cameo meant to set up a longer play? Will it be Jason Momoa, who has been attached to the role for a long while? Could Aquaman be the part that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been teasing this whole time? Or will it be some other actor altogether? We have a long way to go before Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters. Hopefully we don’t have to wait quite that long to get details on DC’s latest cinematic superstar.
