Last post on this issue, even I'm getting tired of myself

1) I traced all my wires from box back to dish with a technician, all good!

2) Took BBC's off connected cables directly into box ( again without BBC's )

signal readings on both tuners in the high ninety's.

3) Replaced both BBC's hooked back into receiver, beautiful, still low tuner 2 readings.

I guess the port in the receiver could be going bad but neither I nor the tech are buying that.

Peace

Scrolling through the guide seems to be a lot faster than most previous CE's. Scrolling through recorded programs is not as fast as the guide but seems to respond within 4 seconds at its slowest. Usually the real slowness of a CE starts to appear in about 3 days after getting the CE so I'll put it through its paces and report back. My tuner signal levels seem to match up okay.

HR21 / HR22 / R22 (-100 Series Only) 2/12 & 2/13 CE Release 0x02D3

Wasn't this CE Cycle already made a National Release in 02CA/ 02CB on 2/5/08?? If so, why is this Ce Cycle being continued? Why are we doing the same Cycle as the other not -100 receivers?

I don't think it went national yet. When I reverted to the national a couple of days ago, I got 02AF. Maybe there's some confusion because they branched the -100 units off of the other ones that were doing these CE's and I think they were doing the national release a few days ago separately as well.

It's not unheard of for them to continue working on a cycle after a release. I'm guessing they realized there were some problems with one tuner getting poor readings so they kept working on it. That's probably why the -100 are seperate right now.

My HR20-100 just keeps saying "searching for new software" but never downloads anything. Thanks for any help.

I am not sure if this update is in the stream tonight. I have seen at the other site that they removed Thursday from the download days.

Same with mine... Searching for New Software (02B0) and flips through a bunch of random numbers in upper left... never gets's past that.

Guessing they decided not to do it tonight...was really hoping this issue would be fixed finally... gets old rebooting so you can tune to a channel.

Sorry guys, I didn't get any notice that Thursday night had been cancelled.

Sounds like all HR2x will be on for Friday/Saturday.
