What Channels Could you not live without...

What channels do you currently get with Dish and Directv doesnt offer that you couldnt live without or that keeps you as a Dish sub? Mine would have to be the HBO/Cinemax premiums. However the Directv's larger hard drive (100 HD hours) makes me jealous.

I like Fox News, but the reason that I switched to Dish on Sunday from DirecTV is for the HBO and Cinemax channels in HD. DirecTV f***s you with HBO and Max, you pay $28 a month for 4 HD channels, with Dish at least you get extra Max channels plus 2 extra HBO's Comedy and Zone and they have HD for all feeds except HBO2 and MoreMax.

I watch the network feeds of ABC, CBS, Fox, & some NBC. Other that that, I watch HBO, Travel, HGTV, SCiFi (all in HD). I rarely watch any of the remaining HD channels. I DVR all programs. I never watchd live tv. Even if I run across something that I like, I will DVR the remainder of the program and watch it later, without commercials.

None. But if I were to leave, DirecTv would not be where I would go. So I would have to start looking at say what is different between Fios and Dish channels. I am assuming that Dish will keep its DVr's running, but if they don't I will really be looking.

As a Direct sub I cannot answer which one I cannot live without, but I can answer which ones that you guys have that I wish Direct had.

The ones I want that Dish currently has and Direct does not are WGN (although not that big of a deal since I have EI and more Cub games are on CSN) and Travel (this is the one channel I really want).

From the Direct side. The channels that Direct has that Dish doesn't that I could not live without are MLBNet and EI.
