Team Summit 2014 - General Assembly Updates

Welcome to SatelliteGuys 2014 coverage of today's General Assembly at DISH's Team Summit 2014 which is being held in Nashville, TN!

Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control our coverage will not be as good as it normally is. Due to lack of funds and vacation time I was unable to travel to this years Team Summit Event. We planned on having Sherrman at Team Summit as our Roving Reporter (something he has done for us in the past... and done well!) However due to the severe weather all his flights to Nashville were canceled leaving us without a reporter at Team Summit.

My pledge to you is this... I don't care if I got to eat Roman Noodles for 6 months to save up enough to go to next years Team Summit. I will do it. A lot of you don't realize when we go to these events we pay for everything out of our own pocket. And normally when I go I lose a weeks pay as I only get 2 weeks paid vacation at my job. (No SatelltieGuys is not my job.)

With that said we will be scouring searching for news as it happens and posting it as soon as we get it.

We will also be monitoring Dish's Twitter Feed which has been a buzz with Team Summit info. You can follow @retailernews or search for the hashtag #dishts14 on Twitter as well!

Yup I messed up... I have been waiting for news to come in from the Keynote which starts at 1PM....

I forgot Nashville is an hour behind! So it hasn't started yet! (Yes folks I am a Dummy!)

I am starting to get things in and people are telling me its been a lot of SEC Hype, Tim Tebow is there and there is a heavy push on social networking... (like SatelliteGuys!)

I am getting a lot of pics a lot of people posting for pics with Tim Tebow.

One thing I am noticing is that the crowd is very small this year. I wonder if a lot of people couldnt get to Nashville because of the weather?
