Fox News HD

Ok, I concede there are many misinformed, or angry, FNC haters but what do they have to do with the purpose of this thread which is: When will the High Definition version of FNC go live?

Why would you want to block the truth from your child?

When "truth" is just a religious devotion to a political party, and has nothing to do with facts, I have a duty as a parent to consider how it will affect my child. This is not to say we do not talk about bad people, what they do, and how to deal with them.

And yes, I understand that every family is different. Some people care neither for their nation or their children. And they should have every right to express their feelings by watching FoxNews, including in HD.

They can have their "truth". We'll stick with facts.

I would assume that you have all news channels blocked then from what you say.

You’re spouting a lot of hyperbole; when are you going to sprinkle a few facts to go with the rantings. Tell me exactly which facts are in error. Don’t be a popinjay. Enjoy the Kool-Aid.

None are worth the air they breath. All have multiple agendas all will mislead and in the end there will never be black and white there are only shades of gray.

News agencies by their nature can't help but convey their own spin because they are telling stories and only a small piece of the story that they all make judgments on without knowing the full truth or gravity of their preconceived and generally mislead notions they report.

They can all go to #@!! and stop wasting my bandwidth!

Way to go david803sc.....

Way to go david803sc.

What in God's name were you thinking asking a question like that? Are you a covert agent from another satellite site trying to spread disunity and cause the down fall of satellite guys??

Now you've stared WWIII, right here on Satellite Guys. It's gonna spill into other web sites, then water coolers in people's offices, then governments will start bickering, then the nukes will start to fly....then BOOM!, cancel Christmas baby... turn the lights out when you leave.

AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS ALOT!

Seriously. Five pages of how good or bad Fox News is..... and I don't think one post answered his original question............

But what the heck......... it's been good for a laugh!

FNC HD, like all new HD channels, will be a welcomed addition to any cable/satellite lineup. Perhaps I'm more worried about turning off the SD channels once they go HD. Heck, let's go "a la carte" and get rid of 75% of the bandwidth wasting channels that few people watch, yet everyone pays to subsidize.

Good Lord....

Why in gods name would you want to look at Bill O'reilly in Hi-Def. let alone at all.

The same could be said about every show and on-air personality in broadcasting and cable. The bottom line is that FNC is the most popular news network because people watch their news and related programming more often than they do their less successful competitors.

Of course, why would any DishHD customer want to watch FNCHD, CNNHD, MSNBCHD, etc., when they already have HDNews...America's oldest national HD news channel.;)

Kiran Chetry, Julie Bandaras, Rudi Baktar, and Rebecca Gomez (all of FoxNews) in HD would be a nice alternative to Bill O'Reilly.

OK here si the bottom line. A news channel is not anybody's first choice for HD but you take what you get. FNC has some attractive personalities and some that are less so. A lot of people watch Fox News. We have already had the debate about which news network has more total viewers so we won't go there.

But nobody knows when DISH plans to to carry this.

To add to your summary, some people do not like Fox, but some people do. :D

Kiran went over to the dark side! :( She is on CNN now.

But I hear that CNN is coming in HD so I will tune in to see her in HD!! :D If Dish picks it up.

Wow, I guess I haven't watched much news lately, I did not know that! They do seem to trade newscasters regularly though (I think Paula Zahn and Rudi Baktiar have jumped back and forth between the two).
