:confused: As I've written...... I don't want a powered splitter :rant:

I run run the TVs and the Receiver and most every thing on off and inverter with my batteries. We never use shore power. I don't want anything more that will draw power continuously plus, I don't have any more outlets to plug a powered splitter into :o

Wrong kind of splitter switch..... I want 1 that has one input and two outputs :(

I wonder if the simple non-powered splitter would work if I unplugged the 110 v power to the TV I was not watching. It would be much easier to pull the plug on one of the TVs, than trying to swap out HDMI cables in the back of the receiver. Would that possibly work for me?

upsss, Great idea. I installed a hi quaility "Monster" component cable and both TV's do work. The TV with the HDMI (25' cable) has a great picture. The TV with the component cable has a diminished picture and it will not permit some of the movie channels from viewing such as HBO and Showtime...

How often does Dish Network update their programing? Do they do it daily or weekly? How long can you leave the receiver unplugged before you must request a programing "hit" from Dish? Again, thanks for the help

I was thinking that I would swap the LNB's on the DP Plus Dish on our house roof as that dish is dialed in with all three birds. Perhaps one of the LNB'S is faulty on the dish we use for the RV
