    Sirius Kenwood receiver noise

    I am experiencing severe noise with my three year old Kenwood Sirius receiver. The noise is like a crackling, a lot like static. Surprisingly, it is worst when the unit is first turned on, and it diminishes as it warms up, but does not vanish. I suppose that I have to send it in for repair...
