    Just received a call from Sobongo/AAD telling me the HD distants will definitely be yanked at midnight tonight. I told the rep I'd cancelled my subscription a week ago.

    Decided not to wait, went ahead and put a bullet in my subscription just now. Since I'm on auto pay, my service as a whole is done on the 28th, but the HD channels do in fact disappear on the 12th.

    I bought the blu-ray of "The Boat That Rocked" from Amazon UK in December, and its fantastic. This is the version to watch and/or own IMO. "Pirate Radio" is the US version of BTR, missing at least 20 minutes if not more.

    I returned a faulty 622 a few years back, stupidly threw away the UPS shipping receipt. Dish/ATT billed me $350. After weeks of bickering back and forth, the missing receiver was located and I dodged a bullet. Nuff said.

    Hurray! Finally! About damn time! I was seriously considering dropping Dish for TWC before March over this very issue -- had had about enough of the politics so this is welcome news if indeed true Now let's work on getting KYMS MY35 HD added to Dish so I can see all Spurs games in HD
