Siganls Returned Saturday March 7, 2009 With the sun shinning again, I'm happy to report all transponder signals returned after the water in the LNB's dried out! Everything is back to normal. Come spring it will be time to seal the LNB's with RTV to prevent that from happening again. :)

Receiving HD Center Ice channels in Nor Cal. Watching Dallas and New Jersey game in HD as we speak. Current Sharks game is only in SD however. You may have a guide problem as the games in HD are showing up on my guide.

Sundude, Try disconnecting the phoneline and then reconnect. I did that here today and now the caller ID function is working again.

Matt, I believe this is a firmware glitch. I noticed that both the 780p and 1080i lamps on the DVR were on at the same time (hence the reason for the gray screen) Only time will tell if this work around did the trick. Keep your fingers crossed. :eureka

I had a similiar problem and I found that if you select 1080P and as soon as the screen goes "gray", press the info button and it will acknowledge your TV's capability to display 1080P providing it can. This worked for me on my Sony XBR w/full 1080p

If your going to buy a satellite meter for setting up a Directv AU9S dish (5LNB) the best meter in my opinion in the $200 price range is the Acutrac III plus by Perfect Vision.
