    3rd call was sucessful, I lied said neighbor down the had them turned on with no problem, then they wanted to verify I had a dish pointed to 61.5 slot after I had to tell them one on the right slot they wanted to be sure I wasn't pointed at 148 shhhesssh, but at least I got them only took 1/2...

    Voom 2 attempts Called at 715pm using 333-dish Told No Activation for exisiting dish customers, No way around him.... Called our Dealer # at 7:18 Same Run Around, and they seem to be getting testy, will have to try again in a few minutes....... :(

    We here in Northern VT, Have had a few Dealings with Utility Poles, if it is owned by the utility company we don't have Permission to install, Most of the power companies here, have (lease) agreements to share pole space IE Power, phone, Cable, one local power company, will tear down any object...

    I would look at your original LNB;s are they Dish Pro or Legacy (older) style the DP34 requires DishPro equipment.

    Yellow card & 721 Which mine went easy, got the first smart card labeled for 721 & 921 only, Started at 6:30am finally after multiple reboots resets, gave up for the day at 8am, started again at 8pm that night after 2 attempts, dish admits they are haviing issues with some 721 not taking new...

    Assuming he pointed both dish's on the right bird, hooked up the multi switch (hopefully right switch) you will have to do an auto detect to find the switch and the 72.5 bird, (you have the most current software)

    Hi Guys from Northern Vermont. I installed a 921 for a customer, and was wondering about noise levels, does the fan run all the time or just as needed? also does the hard drive spin always or does it have a sleep mode?, trying to avoid a trip to the border if I can! thanks! Andy B Jost...

    Sounds like a Total Hard drive Failure, call Dish and Get a replacement, I've had 2 522 Fail out of the Box, The 501/508 have been more stable for me.... andy in Vermont.

    Well acording to Tech Support Dish was doing Maintenace on Local Uplinks to the above cities and here in Vermont all we have is a black screen....Arrggghhh
