test cable i also have a 522 dvr conected to this dish,running two tvs off of it, havent had a problum with it since it was installed about two years ago. the only problum is the vip222,which still freezes up two or three times aday.

sounds like you have the problum i do. dish network dont seem to interested in this unit. soon as i can dish it up,im going to.calling tech service is just a waist of time

no ota hooked up, worked ok until there lastes software update. nothing but problums since.

thanks for the responce. im on my second one. now they want to send a tech out to check there installatio! and charge me 49.$ to upgrade cost about 500.$ due to there dish it up promo. only one upgrade per year. they just wont admitt this is a bad model reciever. just has to be a problum on my end.

from newbie here, why do i have toreset my reciever two to three times aday? video freezes up but audio is fine. this is my second relacment reciever. seems like dish tech support is no help. is anyone else having problums with this reciever? are can you help me with this problum.
