Can you ever beileve a CSR? A CSR on Sunday told me Tuesday or Weds. At this point that means tomorrow, but when are CSR's right about what will happen? ~~~ RARELY in my experience!:D

Does anyone know (or heard rumors) when Directv is going to start adding more HD channels, like Cinemax .. anything? I bought DTV just for NFL Sunday Ticket, which only some of the games are in HD. The rest of the HD offering is slim, what is it about 7 channels total? Dish has D* way...

If Cinemax HD was on either DTV or Dish I would drop HBO totally. When is the last time D* added a bona fide big time high def channel. I still miss VOOM!!!!!

what extra programming do you get at this point by switching? it doesnt seem worth it? can I get 2 of the hd dvr's or is it just one per account like before?

Cool movie on Kung Fu today with Michelle Yeow and Cynthia Rothrock, this an early one for them, they look like they are 19. Unfortunately the PG says the movie is Yes, Madam, made in 1938 starring Bobbie Howes and Diana Churchill. I dont think these two kung fu babes were alive then. Nice...

Pure and simple, I dont think the upgrade will succeed, the channels they are currently offering going live on Feb 1. are not that spectacular, especially for substandard resolution.

I agree, the picture quality looks like sh*t .. i miss the pq on voom so much, but what choice do we have? .. all the technology in the world and all they serve us is half-a**, it will get better over time though, i hope.

Kung Fu and Film Fest are now on 9479 and 9480 .. I assume the rest are on the way .. So happy to see this, what happened to Cosmos? Really hoping for a Sci Fi channel to give 122 a run for their money.

If nothing else you have to give Dish credit for one thing .. their internal information security is beyond belief .. with all the people who really want to know what is going ot happen next, programming, technology, etc .. nobody outside of E* corporate really has anything but speculation...

I was on TimeWarner for about a month after Voom went out .. it is not true hi def, it is the worst picture i have ever seen and their program guide and logic is a joke, i wouldn't go time warner if they gave me 2 years free. Also, their installers - ughhhh never mind.
