If you use a cheaper you may want to power the lnb separately in addition to powering your meter with a line from the receiver. This helps immensely. Those lnb's require quite a bit of power to tune ok. And it helps if the lnb is getting power on addition to thats passing through your meter.

Just curious what your failing 922's had temps are looking like and what type of power source they are running through, surge protector, direct to wall outlet,( properly wired I would hope).

Did they run new cabling from the dish. Using the duo node if the sat 3 line will not actually pass full 3ghz may case a problem.

The joes do have composite inputs so if your second tv has them your fine or tint them into an rf modulator many decent tech is going to hook it up somehow as long as they can make at least a semi-permanent tv connection

The third sat in line on the duo node will carry the 2150 to 3000 spectrum so if the lines will not carry 3ghz you will have a problem.
