    No the older models of receivers require a receiver deca for the whole home function. They are powered by the receiver themselves.

    To add on this, four lines will need to be ran from the lnb to the ground block assuming the system is grounded. From there four lines to wherever your current switch is. I hate running four lines. :)

    Even if you did buy the 34 from a retailer you still need a swm16 which aren't cheap (200-300). So your best bet is probably through Dtv.
